Honestly, who wrote this? Some 6th formers, the Daily Mail education correspondent and a few retired educational advisers.

I keep meaning to watch this but as a secondary teacher I reckon it would be too much of a "busman's holiday". A lot of my colleagues seem to rate it though.

It may be crap, but can't stop watching it.

The thing is with Waterloo Road, it interferes with time itself.
You think it must be 8.40 by now because so many things have happened and you look at your watch and it is only 8.15 yet already there has been a demo, a bullying incident, two food fights and an explosion.

I know, it is crap but I can't stop watching it.

Are there only 8 teachers in that school?

YANBU. Any teachers that 'right on' and lenient in a real school would end up tied up in a stationery cupboard while the pupils had a riot. Plus, half the pupils are in their thirties.

I liked it in the beginning and now I can't be bothered with it anymore.

it's for kids. The kids love it

Its soo bad its good - I love playing 'spot this weeks topical issue in the first 10 seconds'

It has some brilliant comic moments though.

Series 2/3 were the best I think.

I love how unrealistic all their pregnancy storylines are - Kim finding out the sex of the baby at the first scan, both (schoolgirl) births happening at school in about 5 minutes.
