To think that us mums are obsessively analytical?

I can understand why as bringing up kids is such an important job.
I was neurotic about my newborn and i am still neurotic about my toddlers safety-except then I worry that I will smother her/get it wrong/be too lax and get it wrong still.
I compare myself to other mums and get judgy whilst at the same time judging myself. I often feel guilty.
It does my head in.

I think I would be a lot more neurotic if I were a single parent. It helps to have some one to share decisions with. Must be v hard to do it on your own.
