DS is 14 weeks old, and was sat on my knee a moment ago and did the sort of poo that can't be contained by a nappy, bodysuit and dungerees. So I'm sat here in pooy jeans. The only other jeans that can contain my vastly increased post baby arse are currently going round in the tumble dryer and will be there for the next 32 minutes.

The only other clothing that fit my new post baby figure are my only 'going out' trousers or pjs. I'm voting PJs, but is 4:26pm a bit too early to give up on the day?

I really can't do the yummy mummy thing at all...

YANBU. I love putting my pjs on when we are settled in for the evening. If it was winter it would be dark now and you probably wouldn't think twice.

BigBadMummy · 06/04/2010 16:30

ooohh yes... put them on... with bed socks and then get thee on the sofa.

I would love to be in my PJs at this time of the afternoon.

I have my ILs staying though so couldn't get away with it.

Any my youngest DC is 11 so don't think I could use your excuse either

Deffo pjs, would be daft to risk poo or vomit all over going out trousers!

saslou · 06/04/2010 16:34

I have just had a bath and swapped one pair of pj's for a clean set. Don't even have the excuse of being pregnant or mother of a newborn. DH has taken dc to the park and i am thinking that this is what Easter holidays are for! Go put your pj's on and enjoy!

I have been in my pyjamas all day, have even walked the dog through the village and up a hill in them.

I am about to change into clean pyjamas.

FakePlasticTrees · 06/04/2010 16:35

right, PJs it is. Possibly with the last of the easter eggs. (It was that sort of nappy, it's that or gin, but chocolate is winning so far)

I don't even have the baby excuse but I'd definitely be in my PJs if I didn't have to go back out again haha

blissa · 06/04/2010 16:37

I'd be putting my pjs on if I didn't have to go out and pick up dd2 in a bit.

saslou · 06/04/2010 16:40

at the thought of women all over the country sitting in their pj's, eating easter eggs and chatting on MN

BuzzingNoise · 06/04/2010 16:43

YANBU. Pjs are the best thing in the whole world.

Doodleydoo · 06/04/2010 16:43

I wish I was in my pj's although I could run from the office now as I seem to be alone.....so here I come pj's. I have also had a bath at 4pm in the afternoon when cold, or just fancying it!

runnybottom · 06/04/2010 17:31

haven't taken them off yet. Nor will I.
