when we live 4 hours from London and he has only been home for one week out of the last 6 because he is working overseas and he is not coming home this weekend until Sunday at the earliest and DS and DD are sick and DH KNEW when he went to the rugby (and so was gone all day) that he would be away this week. Am I being unreasonable in feeling I've had enough?

YADNBU, don't know what else to say! Have a non-MN hug You know you need to tell him though, good luck.

Thanks-I do feel better-sometimes it gets a bit exhausting! You are right about rugby being important to him. I think he will be home next weekend so I am planning a couple of hours out shopping and a drink with a mate.

hey cassandra

hope you're feeling better. I have experience of dh going to football twice a week every week, regardless of whatever else might happen. He carried on going after ds, especially when I needed him. But then I realised to embrace it and accept it as he loves me very much, and helps out in every other way. Football is very important to him (as are we) but his male bonding session or whatever happens there (also some sort of being part of a pack and stuff that maybe we women don't understand). Just prepare for it and next time plan to do some things yourself ; )
