To feel really bad that I did not get T in the Park tickets for DS1?

Was at the computer at the alloted time today, submitted my request then had to wait for ages only to be told all the Sat tickets had sold out. However his friends managed to get theirs. How do you succeed at this? I know they sold out quickly but I was in the queue as soon as they went on sale.

Feel bad as he is workling hard for his exams and really wanted him to be able to go. Even had the text written telling him I had got them...

Any tips for next time?

I really feel for you, and your DS. I'm not sure how you succeed at this, but the line-up for T in the Park is awesome (to say the least) and so demand for tickets would have been sky high, I imagine.

It sounds like you did everything you could and were just really unlucky. Can you get tickets for the Friday or Sunday instead?

My DD just looked on Ebay and there are already some tickets for T in the Park for sale... it might be worth a look?

Website said they are sold out but I swear I saw a sign in the window today saying they had some.

Thank you all. He is just 17 so there will be other years. It seems the Saturday is always so much more popular that other days. I could have got Sunday ones but his friends are all going on Saturday. They are being re-sold for more than twice their face value (£150+) which is a shame when these were not genuine purchasers.

Hi there, they usually release another batch in the spring, can't remember quite when. I managed to get Sunday tics last year in the final release.
Also ebay prices can get very close to cost price at times, they will be higher at the mo because people will be whipped into a frenzy by the pree attention and failing to get them by normal means.

Saw that they released more on 09 March last year so will definitely be keeping an eye. DS1 has been lovely about it. Thanks Noshouting, I'd appreciate that.
