To set up a bed for me in DS's room tonight?

DH has gone out all day to watch rugby.

His friend will be spending the night in our spare room.

DH will be drunk and will snore, and my usual escape route will be filled by said friend.

Should I get the camp bed set up in DS's room?

Oh hell yes.

DH won't be pleased.

He thinks it's treachery.

Will you be comfortable there? I think I would suggest that your DH slept on the sofa, and you stay nice and comfy in your own bed!

Tell him you think its treachery to have mates over and get so drunk that he snores so loud you can't sleep.

DH is very tall. Sadly he won't fit on the sofa.

And i wouldn't inflict him on DS.

Mind you, DS isn't the quietest of sleepers either.... ho hum.

Tell him that drunks lose the right of appeal.

Would you set the camp bed up downstairs? Then they'd probably disturb you when coming in drunk, I supposed.

On balance, I'd set it up in ds's room, your dh will get over it! Sympathise with everyone who has snoring dh's.

set up the damp bed downstairs and let DH sleep on that with his mate on the sofa. then you get comfy bed and don't get disturbed.

Suggest dh and his friend stay in a hotel overnight. That way you get a nice peaceful nights sleep.

Just to add insult to injury, they'll be back before I go to bed. So I'll have to sit there for an hour or so listening to them witter on.

Friend cannot drink as much as DH so he'll certainly be pissed.
