DS1 has an ipod shuffle (2nd hand from brother) and has asked me tonight to put some music on it.
So here i am sitting and begin to download a song, (can't remember what it was) previewed it and it was all about "wanting to strip you and give it to you big girl"...obviously i stopped the download and have offered him Subo or Michael Buble in exchange.

so what is suitable music for an 11 yr old??

LOL!

Does he like indie/guitar music at all? Tends to be a bit safer

janeite · 02/02/2010 20:10

YANBU to refuse to allow it. You are, however, being horribly unreasonable to make anybody under the age of 92 listen to Michael Buble.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 02/02/2010 20:10

The beatles, fantastic, every child should listen to these.

my ds who is ten and a half loves david bowie, velvet underground, police, blondie, gary newman, cheryl cole and michael jackson.... my dh has also introduced him to rage against machine and he now has 3 of their albums.... Does this help?

My dd loved oasis after she listened to my album.
