to expect DH to answer phone

when I am 40+4, he has gone down the allotment and said "I will make sure I have the phone with me in my pocket in case anything happens".

Well I have just phoned him to ask him something and he hasn't answered it or rung back. Am beginning to think he might as well have left it here.
