What with managing the recycling centre, working at the dentist, helping out at the library and taking people on balloon rides for starters, I just don't know how she does it..

AIBU to think the poor woman deserves a holiday?

oh thank goodness, me dp and my mum had a very serious conversation about this, how sad,

i thought we were the only people who had noticed though,

YANBU

and i wonder when rebecca rabbit actually sees her mum?

Divatheshopaholic · 08/01/2010 09:52

Hmm, DD actually asked a few times, where was danny dogs daddy and Emily elephants mummy.
DD loves Emily the most and makes exact elephant noise, too. We think she is genius, or future oscar winner

spanky2 · 08/01/2010 11:40

I agree. Why is she the only female to work out of the home? I also think Chris and Pui (on Show Me Show Me) would make a nice couple. Is it wrong to enjoy watching Peppa Pig? Is anyone else married to a man like Daddy Pig? My husband's DIY and not asking for directions is just the same. The children also tell him his tummy is big.

DrBrownBear · 08/01/2010 11:47

ha ha ha - I was going to change my nickname to MissRabbithasHOWMANYjobs!!

She's a great multi-tasker.

Mr Rabbit doesn't seem to do that much though - printing out blue triangles? Surely he could take on a couple of her jobs to spread the load...

Kate365 · 08/01/2010 13:55

Miss Rabbit is a hard-working single mother-of-two. The Mr Rabbit who works in Daddy Pig's office is her father. As a single mum, Miss Rabbit is desperately trying to make ends meet by holding down numerous McJobs. When the next Conservative Govt brings in marriage incentives, she'll be out in the cold again. Poor Miss Rabbit. I worry about her.

Jenbot · 08/01/2010 16:07

We were just talking about this yesterday. We thought maybe Mr Rabbit was a gambler.

myhandslooksoold · 08/01/2010 16:10

i actually thought this post was regarding the overuse of your own 'personal' rabbit!!!!

BlueBumedFly · 10/01/2010 10:59

We have a theory that Miss Rabbit is the omnipresent being that controls Peppa's world, a bit like Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner.

Bobbiewickham · 10/01/2010 16:36

Mine is

mona78 · 08/07/2011 15:16

Actually, Miss Rabbit is Rebecca and Richard Aunt. There was an episode that my daughter and I watched where Peppa and George came to visit rebecca at their house. Rebecca and Richard's toys were all over the place and here comes miss rabbit tripped on one of those toys so Mrs rabbit, took over her job as a cashier at the supermarket, grandad dog to do the bus driving and daddy pig to do the ice cream selling etc..it ended up in a disaster because they didn't know how to do it properly. For sure Miss rabbit is very rich working as a dentist's helper, recycling centre, potato city, helicopter rescue, cashier in the museum and cafe, operating the hot air balloon etc...

LadyFlumpalot · 08/07/2011 15:30

Another one who thought this was about vibrators!

Grin
upsylazy · 08/07/2011 15:43

There is apparently an episode called "Miss Rabbit's day off" although I haven't seen it. I am so grateful DS2 is obsessed with Peppa rather than the endless hours of fecking Balamory and Teletubbies videos I had to endure with the older 2.

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 08/07/2011 15:46

Oh dear, I saw the title and thought you were talking about vibrators. Blush

I'll back off now ...

yellabelly · 08/07/2011 15:49

A lady on the radio used to talk about vibrators during the day'totally out of character.. she called them "the girls best friend" how much status do they have?

Tinkerisdead · 08/07/2011 15:51

Mona is bang on. There is an episode where miss rabbit babysits whilst mrs rabbit takes over. I think its same episode where mrs rabbit greets her with hello sister! To which miss rabbit exclaims I'm late for work.

Def the key episode to decipher it all and then of course there's the episode where Rebecca and Richard get a new baby rabbit and I think they call him robbie.

QuoththeRaven · 08/07/2011 16:14

yep, came on to say that miss rabbit is richard and rebeccas aunt as explained in abovementioned episode

zelda1982 · 08/07/2011 16:14

Mummy Rabbit has just had twins too!!! Miss Rabbit is Mummy Rabbits sister. Now i've wrote "rabbit" so many times it just looks wrong. ;?

pigletmania · 08/07/2011 17:38

I love Miss Rabbit. She has quite an enterprise going on: librarian, ice cream seller, museum worker, fire lady, campsite worker, bus driver, train driver, Christmas tree seller, balloon ride oprative, the list goes on

qwepoi · 08/07/2011 17:46

Yes, mummy Rabbit had twins the other day (Rosie and Robbie) on the way into the hospital she bumped into her sister who was there as a nurse. Mr Rabbit missed the birth as he was parking the car. DH and I always v excited by new episodes!

TigerseyeMum · 08/07/2011 22:04

Yes, I have to buy an awful lot of batteries

Grin

Well, I am glad I am not the only one who thought that way....

LadyFlumpalot · 08/07/2011 22:08

I have a Jessica Rabbit...she is quite overworked.

MerryMarigold · 08/07/2011 22:08

Miss Rabbit is also Nanny Plum I believe

didldidi · 08/07/2011 22:09

and how come the pigs, dogs, rabbits, sheep etc. can all talk to each other but the ducks they are feeding only quack to them?

olibeansmummy · 09/07/2011 07:49

I was going to explain the episode where miss rabbit goes to rebbecca and Richard's house and hurts her foot so mrs rabbit has to go and do miss rabbits jobs, but mina beat me to it Smile

CurlyBoy · 09/07/2011 10:39

Hahaha! I just said this exact thing to my wife yesterday! You forgot bus driver and ice cream seller. I think she can do it all because she's Nanny Plum in disguise! :)
