To think this man was a wanker?

I'm very pissed off. Was driving down my narrow one way street in my big mercedes van and found a parking spot that was big enough. It takes a while to park my van at the best of times, nothing to do with skill but on a narrow road with cars down each side you have to do it in two goes so as not to touch the parked cars. Anyway. It's very snowy obviously and i had to park very slowly, or i would have skidded and probably hit a parked car or a person on the pavement. When i tucked myself in the twat who was waiting to get past gave me a sarcastic slow hand clap through the window. I am fuming about it. I literally could not have moved any faster without causing an accident and i have a perfect right to park on my street don't i? I know people have ishoos with van drivers but i'm not your typical am i? I usually get respect for being a female driver in a massive van and if i do say so myself i'm bloody good at driving it.

how rude of him!

famishedass · 18/12/2009 15:29

I expect he's got a very small penis

TrinityReindeer · 18/12/2009 15:30

I'm with famished

he has to act like a big cock to people because he has a teeny tiny cock

MitchyInge · 18/12/2009 15:33

park it in his FACE next time

PuppyMonkey · 18/12/2009 15:33

I hope you gave him the finger back..

ineedalifelaundry · 18/12/2009 15:34

It was probably my dh. He has the most obnoxious attitude to other drivers of anyone I know. Not to mention double standards.

I'll kick him in the goolies for you.

nickelbabyjesus · 18/12/2009 15:36

obviously he would have preferred you to smash some other cars up.

what a wanker.

ineedalifelaundry · 18/12/2009 15:36

But he hasn't got a tiny penis btw... Just a massive chip on his shoulder and a smidgen of little man syndrome.

emsyj · 18/12/2009 15:40

You should have got out of the van and taken a bow.

GhoulsAreLoud · 18/12/2009 15:57

YANBU, he was being a dick.

The day after my driving test I took my tiny Polo to B&Q carpark to practice my bay parking - it took me forever to get in the space (I realise now this was because I hadn't adjusted my wing mirrors properly to see the white lines and there weren't any cars either side of the space )

Anyway, when I finally got in a man in a car nearby gave me a round of applause, so I got out and bowed.

That was all good fun though, and I was a crap driver and I don't think he was being rude.

Your guy, on the other hand, is an arse.

(I can bay park perfectly now, by the way )

carocaro · 18/12/2009 16:11

Defo a twat.

When Smart cars first came out my friend got one, I was in it what she was trying to reverse park it for the first time outside a bar in Battersea, it took he a few goes to get into this space. We were laughing about it and when we got out all these blokes outside the bar gave us a standing ovation!

JaneS · 18/12/2009 17:53

What an idiot. Would he have preferred it if you'd slipped on the ice and gone flying back into him? No, didn't think so.

Btw, parking a van in two chops is pretty good going in my book!

SparklyGothKat · 18/12/2009 18:00

I drive a van too, and it normally takes me about 2 chops to park into a space. I am bloodly good at driving it too

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 18/12/2009 18:35

Why thank you all! What a twat. Surely in the snow everyone has to be a bit more patient anyway? I was reverse parking a 5.5 metre long van in thick snow ffs! I am a good driver, he was just a twat.
