Too have a microwave chicken dinner for lunch

I normally hate these things, they dont taste of much and they are dry and boring. The last week morning sickness has gone into overdrive and tastless and boring is PERFECT for me. I was dashing around the shop yesterday trying not to throw up at the sight of the food and i saw this froxen chicken dinner and some little voice in my head started screaming "YES I CAN EAT THAT!".

I had one for my dinner yesterday and it was the first thing in about 4 days I have actually enjoyed and more to the point kept down!. I even managed a bit of water to drink which is my main problem at the moment.

I have another on ein the freezer (it was on offer) and its calling to me to eat it right now.

Is it unreasonable to live on these for the next say 3 months? I may even try the beef one (although the thought of beef make me feel queasy again).

YANBU. I lived almost exclusively on tomato soup and pringles when I had morning sickness. It has passed now, thank goodness (14 + 3) Eat what you can and to hell with what it is and whether or not it's healthy.

YANBU! All I could eat in the first two months was cheese, bread and processed tinned tomato products. It's important that you keep your strength up, so if you find something palatable, eat it!

Morloth · 16/12/2009 12:13

Morning sickness = cannot be unreasonable in anything you eat.

QandA · 16/12/2009 12:27

YANBU

Eat it while you can, before your strange pregnancy tastes dictate the next permissible food you can eat without throwing up.

aw fernie, was only joking!!!!

All bets are off when you have morning sickness - you have to eat exactly what you want, in the quantities you want [except for the 'forbidden foods' of course ]

It's the only way to get through the whole hideous experience IMO

googietheegg · 16/12/2009 16:37

YANBU although be careful not to have too much salt in your other meals as they're packed with the stuff
