To go back to bed with DP when the house is a pigsty

DP is knackered after a weekend of virtually no sleep with a DD that only wanted daddy. He doesn't have any work this week (builder - might change tomorrow i hope) so he has gone back to bed, im knackered too - but really, the house looks like we have been burgled!!

No YANBU - in the same way that IANBU sitting on here enjoying some peace and quiet while DD sleeps, the house is a mess and we're having decorators in tomorrow. My reasoning is - we can do a quick tidy up tonight (or DP can!!!!) and I have a packet of hobnobs in - so all sorted for the decorators!

I am sat here looking at several piles of clean washing that need folding in a house that is in need of dusting.

DS has just gone down for a nap and I am seriously considering going back to bed!!

Go back to bed! Its not very often you'll get the chance to so go and snuggle back into bed.

no yanbu, i would if i could, but unfortunatle id just got my ds off to sleep when the neighbours have started drilling again and woke him up ..its been goin on for months now..im surprised they have got any walls left
