he's a bit off an odd wee boy.he thought butter beans were kidney beans that were unripe and that sprouts were baby cabbages.

Runoutofideas · 20/11/2009 17:38

What did he have on Sunday?

diddl · 20/11/2009 17:58

I would say that Runoutofideasmight have it!

campion · 20/11/2009 18:03

Sprouts are baby cabbages in French ( petits choux) so he's not so odd - and I can see where he's coming from with the butter beans.

Probably nothing to do with Sunda(y)(e)s though, but I can't think what he might be on about.Get him to draw it??

pointydogg · 20/11/2009 18:08

Maybe it's brusssel sprouts. We used to have the a lot on a sunday.

TheLadyEvenstar · 20/11/2009 18:15

any ideas yet Dr?

JackBauer · 20/11/2009 18:35

Sprouts are baby cabbages, it's the only way DD1 will eat them. and cauliflower is broccoli that has been staying in from the sun

I reckon it will be something he had on a sunday.

drlove8 · 22/11/2009 03:02

pmsl - turns out he ment GRAPEFRUIT !. dd2 asked him what he was on about? and he told her its like a big orange but is all red inside and you put sugar on them and have them for breakfast.. still dont know where he got sunday fruit from?????
