Booked in to finally have my sadly depleted chest turned into something i can be proud of again on 12 December. For any mumsnetters who have taken the plunge - how long did the pain/discomfort last for - am I mad to contemplate 6 hour solo drive (with 4 and 8 year old in the back) 2 and a half weeks later. Also any other pre / post op advice gratefully received.
