Today I was driving a car which had TWO "Baby on board" signs in the rear window, together with a sign saying "Perfect family on board". The "perfect family" sign showed silhouettes of a man, woman, girl and boy holding hands.

AIBU to have wanted to rear-end their car?

Anyone who has a 'perfect' family sign is going to be in for a rude awakening one day when reality kicks in. How strange!

Pikelit · 02/10/2009 15:22

The abominable side of me wishes I could leave a pair of used knickers in the glovebox...and then see just how the perfect couple dealt with things!

MrsBadger · 02/10/2009 15:24

it's a facade

you know that inside one child was screaming, one was being sick and the mother was trying to drive while telling the father that the raisins were in the pocket of the bag, no the other bag, oh now he's thrown his juice everywhere, you can't have put the lid on properly, where are the wet wipes, no I asked you to pack them, do I have to do everything, yes I know I should have turned right can you all just SHUT UP.

if you're rear-ended her she'd have got out and belted you round the chops.

BalloonSlayer · 02/10/2009 15:24

"Today I was driving a car" - too late melpomene, your Freudian slip caught you out.

It's your car, isn't it?

Yes you are nauseating, and self-satisfied.

Sassybeast · 02/10/2009 15:26

Oh - I need one of those signs - can anyone point me in the direction of the website please ?

Undercovamutha · 02/10/2009 15:27

FGS! YANBU at all!

starwhores · 02/10/2009 15:46

screaming banshee for a mother and my Dad's no better!

We're really quite naughty, but damn good looking!

SausageRocket · 02/10/2009 15:47

Were they driving really really poorly, as well ?

NellyNoNorks · 02/10/2009 15:56

Maybe it was ... ironic?

MintyCane · 02/10/2009 15:58

yuk

ThingOne · 02/10/2009 16:18

Oh but it was mine. Everything's always perfect here chez ThingOne. My children NEVER have tantrums, argue in the car, or eat chips.

katiestar · 02/10/2009 17:04

I am guessing somebody must have bought the sign for them and they have to display it so as not to offend the giver. Please God.

Jujubean77 · 02/10/2009 17:08

puke

PheasantPlucker · 02/10/2009 17:13

I am off to vomit discreetly....

OtterInaSkoda · 02/10/2009 17:15

I like Pikelit's suggestion

opinionatedmother · 02/10/2009 17:16

i'd prefer a sticker saying 'my other family is perfect.'

OrmIrian · 02/10/2009 17:19

Perfect? No such bloody thing.
