I'd noticed the hair tossing before but never the simpering - it was only when I had the sound turned off I realised quite how bad it was. Must be because the accent normally distracts.

Aaah, he is on BBC Four in 'History of Scotland' at the same time. I thought I wasn't quite on the same wavelength on the simpering thing as it's more voiceover.

Looks like it's just me who doens't like his accent, I love the scottish accent, but his just does my head in for some reason
