I 'quite' fancy him too. Mainly because his independence of mind, as you say, his confidence, and his refusal to be bought by anyone (let's forget Noirin - a moment of madness) and his diary room cheek/irony are all quite attractive traits. I don't find him physically horrible either - if push came to shove, I'd certainly find him more shaggable than Funtime Charlie, who is supposed to be a sort of Mr Universe but whose sneer and whine makes him completely repulsive to me.

So YANBU in my, admittedly usually off-kilter, book.

I think it all started when I saw what an elegant dignified woman his mother was in the mummy task (and I guessed her straight away!). I realised then that his cringey David Brent persona was just him being ironic. I just sit back and enjoy it now and I've found myself strangely drawn...

Anyhoo, I agree with the comment on his sense of irony, and this makes him an interesting character with an indepenent personality (A first for BB I think) but I could never forgive the mullet and sideburns - never mind the showering with a scourer..
I suggest you remember the shower scene every time you have these thoughts - or picture him combing that hair. Oh God, I feel sick now...
