If you're in the south oxon area, I could lend you my DS... maybe that's why the foxes have left our rubbish alone recently !

bratley · 02/08/2009 21:13

Kimi!

I would pay money to see your neigbours faces as you walk your DH around the garden directing him to his designated pee points!

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 02/08/2009 21:13

LOL no I am not near you

Momdeguerre · 02/08/2009 21:15

Drive down the motorway or stop in a layby - loads of bottles of piss up for grabs!

kinnies · 02/08/2009 21:21

hey maybe you could use a big dog. get a friend to come round and let their dog pee in your garden.
or (slightly ott option) if you live near a zoo, ask them for some lion pooh??

just imagin if your OH got seen peeing in the garden & arested for public indecency(sp?) no-one would beleive he was there to keep foxs away!

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 02/08/2009 21:25

Was going to get him to pee in a bottle then squirt it round

OP posts:
bratley · 02/08/2009 21:32

Noooo, please take him and point out where he needs to pee, would be much funnier!

I can just imagine him sighing and rolling his eyes as you stand there pointing to the spot and tapping your foot!

juicyjolly · 02/08/2009 21:47

Cant you just pee in the bottle instead?

raindroprhyme · 02/08/2009 21:50

why bother with a bottle,
boys love peeing outside!!!

good in your compost bin too.

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 03/08/2009 09:16

LOL Bratley, he is 6 foot four with ginger strawberry blond hair I think he would be noticed.

Haylstones · 03/08/2009 09:34

My dh used to do this without the bottle .
His tip- wait until it's dark...

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 03/08/2009 13:03

Did it work?

OP posts:
pugsandseals · 03/08/2009 16:32

Anyone know if the same works for cats?
I'll have DH out there ASAP!

Ozziegirly · 04/08/2009 06:07

My Dad did this to deter a badger that kept lifting up newly laid turf.

Worked a treat!

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 04/08/2009 20:35

Thats it DP is peeing in a bottle

OP posts:
Grendle · 04/08/2009 20:39

Yeah does it work for cats? What about ants?

bratley · 04/08/2009 20:48

See!? See!? no bottle! Much funnier!
Thanks for the backup Haylstones!

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 05/08/2009 08:33

I can not have DP doing "his sinful business" in public....bottle it is

OP posts:
Haylstones · 05/08/2009 12:35

Dp did it to deter cats that used to do their business on our newly laid gravel borders and it seemed to work. He claims it has nothing to do with being too lazy to go upstairs where the only bathroom was in our old house.
