Ok, we thought we would camp.

We did it last year with the kids.

It rained. Every bloody day. Lots of fun had and all that but it was hard work.

Where we live, it has rained very day for the last ten days and we've had so much crap and hard work to get through this year that we have decided, last minute, to try and rent somewhere decent in the south west - preferably Cornwall for a week or ten days. Treat ourselves.

Problem is can't bloody find anywhere. Seriously not anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? Is Cornwall officially full

Managed to book a 3 night break in Snowdonia last Wed to depart on Fri, so 9 days notice. Found it through Hoseasons lodges and my searches were coming up with several options, some of which were quite nice. One had its own private outdoor hot-tub which would be lovely were it just dh and me but a no-go as the dc would treat it as glorified paddling pool.
Might be worth a try for Cornwall.

We went to Cornwall a couple of weeks ago and it rained. Looking at the weather reports the SW seems to be the wettest area ATM.
