FFS just tell us. I don't have time to read hundreds of random guesses until the OP finally spits it out, by which time most of the guesses have been far funnier anyway. Unreasonable? Possibly. Frustrated? Yep!

Guessing games make me barf.

My friend always tries to guess what's in parcels I give her. It's the most embarrassing thing in the world if she guesses something better then what I've actually given her.

The ones that are funny are the ongoing sagas like the one where the OP's DP was a cheating shit so another mumsnetter arranged to meet him in the rain outside a monkey zoo (or something like that). Its just the ones that are about one answer that go on forever that make me scream.

I hate em too btw, and I always end up getting sucked in, guessing, but cross posting with people because I'm trying to make sure I've spelt it right and my computer is slow.

I just read the one about the boy's name. I don'r mind guessing games if they are funny but I don't like it when people take the piss like that on an open forum.
