To expect freecyclers not to post 8 different messages for 8 items?

Maybe its petty, but it really winds me up.
I am a moderator on a freecycle group in Hampshire.
Recently lots of members come to me complaining that their inbox is overflowing with emails.

We do have a daily digest option, but frankly no one seems to use it.

instead, i prefer to gently remind the freecycle group of friends, that it would be nice if they could put all of their items into one single mail.

AIBU? or am I just abusing my power as moderator?

You could get a bit more power crazed, if the other thread is anything to go by!
This annoys me too BTW, whats wrong with a list in a single post, esp if you want them to go as one lot?

i love freecycle, but prefer a seperate post for each item. however i agree with you about the email issue, its not rocket science to stop individual emails

One post works if they are all the same kind of thing, eg baby clothes in various sizes, but it's tedious if they are an assortment of different items as you can't fit it in the header.
