urgh that's weird
It's worse IMO that he actually raised her - so presumably acted as a dad

Tamarto · 11/07/2009 16:23

Source 'the national enquirer' where 90% of the stories are made up by journos on crack!

Stretch · 11/07/2009 16:23

Did he bring her up? It's a bit . But they aren't blood related though are they?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/07/2009 16:23

Same as Woody Allen and Mia Farrows adopted daughter.

PeedOffWithNits · 11/07/2009 16:24

exactly stealth - if it was a new realationship within the family that introduced an old man and a young woman, and they fell in love, thats one thing, but he brought her up. makes me shudder.

drinkyourmilk · 11/07/2009 16:25

It's wrong wrong wrong!!

He's raised her - ergo they are family.

If this is ok, then is it ok for someone to marry their step child - or even fostered child? Shudder.

cheesesarnie · 11/07/2009 16:25

ew.i thought of woody allen too.

HolyGuacamole · 11/07/2009 16:26

So wrong on so many levels. What does a 27 year old see in a 72 year old? Yuck.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/07/2009 16:27

Money, status, decent divorce settlement ......

Stretch · 11/07/2009 16:27

Maybe he thinks he's really 27 himself...? After all, 27/72..easy mistake to make...?

Rindercella · 11/07/2009 16:28

Ugh. I am so hoping that this story is not true. Morgan Freeman is a bit of a hero of mine and this would shatter all illusions of him.

Thunderduck · 11/07/2009 16:29

His publicist is apparently denying it. here

LaurieFairyCake · 11/07/2009 16:48

I too hope that's not true

if it is, it's grotesque

Trillian · 11/07/2009 16:51

Is that even legal?

StealthPolarBear · 11/07/2009 17:09

I always liked him too, so will look forward to hearing this is a load of rubbish

CowWatcher · 11/07/2009 17:12

more than a bit euygh. Very euygh. If its true, of course.

MrsEricBana · 11/07/2009 17:14

Me too Stealth - def hope not true.

LaurieFairyCake · 11/07/2009 17:24

this is now being reported on the Yahoo front page too.

melpomene · 11/07/2009 19:48

It wouldn't be legal in English law if she had been raised by him as a child:
Marriage Act
"A marriage solemnized after the commencement of this Act between a man and a woman who is the daughter or grand-daughter of a former spouse of his (whether the former spouse is living or not) or who is the former spouse of his father or grandfather (whether his father or grandfather is living or not) shall not be void by reason only of that relationship if both the parties have attained the age of twenty-one at the time of the marriage and the younger party has not at any time before attaining the age of eighteen been a child of the family in relation to the other party."

Obviously the law could be different in the US, probably varies state by state.

Hopefully it's not true.
