DS is 5 and dd is 3.This pm we have walked across the Humber Bridge and back with ds karate club,it is quite a trek for lo!

Now I am making tea,dd is laid on dps lap watching telly and ds is crashed out on the sofa sucking his thumb.

I feel tea bath and bed asap is the only solution!

not unreasonable at all. I live near said bridge and a trek across it has been known to wipe me out . Bed all round i say.

DD went to bed at 6.30 last night and sleep loads! Bed isn;t a punsihment! They need more sleep!

Do it! I'd liek to go to bed a t 6 too if you could arrange that!

When dd is nap-less, exercised and shattered, I do it too. She wakes 5:30-6ish regardless! It sounds like your dc have had a fab day!

I'll swap you your 2 year old for my 2 year old

My DDs are like dynamos. The more they do during the day the more energy they have. If they have a quiet day then they seem to get tired more easily.
Just be prepared for a 5am start if they are going to bed at 6pm!

My two (3 years and 16 weeks) are both always in bed by 6.30 without fail, otherwise I'd never have any time for housework! They get up between 6 and 7.
