Exp has suddenly shown an interest in the fact I am 8 months pg...despite putting me through serious stress and heartache in a bid to get me not to go through with pg.
When he realised he is not welcome at the birth he then started to call me to 'see how I am' and try to enforce his name choices on me.
He rang me at 11pm on Friday night..I was asleep so rang back when I got to the phone. He said 'Oh when you didn't answer I thought you might be in the pub'
I am 8 months pg its highly unlikely....
Anyway he then went on to say 'Its probably best if you don't go out anymore and stay in...now how about Sarah-Jane?'
Is it wrong to decide to have him at the birth so I can tw*t him really hard in the face and blame the labour for my outburst?

No, don't do it. I was in exactly the same situation with my Ds and had a friend as a birth partner. I also chose my son's names and did everything on my own. I owe his father NOTHING. As far as I'm concerned, he didn't want me to have Ds, so his opinion has never counted, end of.

Thanks I think I just get really lonely at times and suspect he knows I am at a low ebb. Going to some antenatal classes next week to meet other mums so hopefully will be in a better place to deal with Mr Tw*t...

Its just his bare faced cheek - after how he has treated me its surprising he thinks he can advise me on my social activities...I need to get sharp with my responses 'No I'm not planning to go out, I'm staying in and swinging from the chandeliers with Brad Pitt...whats it got to do with you prick face!'

Don't even engage with him. He doesn't deserve it and you don't need the stress. If he rings late at night, don't answer and don't ring back. You can always check the last caller if you think it might be someone else.

However, he is the father of your baby and you should be prepared for him trying to muscle in on your life once the baby is here. And you may not have any choice in the matter.

Any chance he might believe that he isn't the father ??

My bf's DH left her when she was 8 months pregnant with her second child.

She did have him at the birth (elective c section) but she did that purely so her DD wouldn't hold it against her or have ishoos in the future. I think it was very gracious of her to do this for him, but I can she why she did. She didn't want her second DD to feel any different to their first.

I was with him 24/7 when got pg so I doubt it. The way he has treated me he knows if I wasn't 100% I would have said it in rage by now.
God you'll see me in a few months on JK getting a dna test....
