To think the effing post office should pick up the damned phone so I can rearrange delivery?

3 weeks ago I got a "Sorry you were out" card about a book I had ordered. I kept meaning to go pick it up, but the hours they're open for collection are very difficult for me to make.

They claim to be open from 6am to 12.30pm. They gave me their phone number ostensibly so I can rearrange a delivery when I'm at home. I tired to call last week and the week before to rearrange and both times the phone rang and rang and rang until I got the BT lady telling me "Sorry, there is no reply." It's 10am and I've sat at the end of this phone until it's rung off the hook 5 times now. If I don't rearrange they'll send my book back! AAARRRRRRRRRRRGH! What can I do?

7 times and counting. I'm just hoping the constant ringing is really pissing them off at this point.
