It used to be full of bargains but can't seem to get one now. Or is it just me?

I have almost given up bidding on stuff, as I never win anything and don't know how to do that 'sniper' malarkey that others do.

I tend to search for stuff I was going to buy in a High Street shop and get it cheaper in 'buy it now' form online.

no I'm the same - I think I'm too lazy to look though

I can't get it to work on my computer at all now -- they seem to have made it incompatible with Mac browsers.

MrsM -- you need www.auctionsniper.com

I hardly ever win anything - i put a green coat on there a while ago to seel brand new still with the tags. It sold for 99p lol but doesnt matter since I didnt want it

BUT then the woman who bought it went through paypal to get that £1 plus postage back because she thought the picture showed " a slightly different colour green" - FFS IT WAS THE SAME COAT! and looked exactly the same colour to me!. now thats unreasonable some people will do anything for a freebie.

It used to be full of stuff that people didn't want anymore and would sell it cheap (one mans treasure...) but now it's just full of dealers etc selling stuff more expensive than for what you could buy it for in the shops!

I'm glad its not just me! I was thinking the other day how there were no bargains anymore...I thought it was juat me turning in to a tight wad!

southeastastra · 25/03/2009 19:49

lots of sellers probably put off with the need feedback rules.

I was trying to bid on some baby wellies. RRP £8, they are currently going for £8.89 plus postage!!!

However I have just "had" to sell 3 brand new M&S baby t-shirts for 99p so there are some bargains out there.
