Am recently separated and this is the second weekend we have had to sort out access to DC.
He is seeing them for 3 hours this afternoon( while I have the restful task of helping my uncle sort out his bedsit)
Joy of Joys feeding them before bringing them back.

I reminded him that he also agreed to pop round tomorrow am so I could have some me time(45 mins) and go for a run - It is Mothers day after all - He convieniently seems to have forgotten this part of the arrangement despite havng discussed arrangements on 3 separate occasion in the past week

So AIBU to want 45 minutes to myself over the weekend.

Can't you jsut tell him you have made your plans and expect him to be there?

Tricky as split so recent perhaps he resents doing you favours. Hope you get some time for nice run without stress....

I think tbh as long as I am flexible in so much as doing what he wants he is more than happy - I think its a control thing

I suggestted the every other weekend thing - but that wasn't flexible enough, I try and be flexible and he becomes forgetful

Well problem solved, Uncle has rung and does not feel well enough for the big clean up today, so will go for my run this afternoon
