To want to go to work without feeling guilty?

Dh thought I was off tonight, but I am not I am working untill midnight.

He got very annoyed at this because he wanted to go and see his nephew tonight

He told me he hadn't seen him all week and that was my fault and "I will never forget it if aything happens and I don't see him"

As if I don't have enough to feel upset about he has to go and blame me for not seeing nephew often enough.

He said I have tied him with childcare dd1's horseriding and b) he might be losing his job so someone needs to pay the morgate.

I am sat here in tears. What do I do? Do I call work so that DH can see nephew or do I go and he will have to accept that as much a you want it to, life doesn't stop?

He is being totally unreasonable - but isn't that a product of his situation? I have followed your threads about your dn, I am so so sorry for all of you. You must all be so sad and under so much stress.

Sorry - obvious question but why can't DH go to see nephew on his own? Can't your mum and dad babysit your DCs?

It sounds like he's cross with himself, but is taking it out on you - try and rise above it. Can you get a babysitter for a few hours so that you can go to work and he can visit? How long would visiting his nephew take, and how easy would it be for him to go tomorrow night instead?

No my mum can't have them as my dad has heart troubles and needs his rest and his mum has bad arthritis. My gran had dd2 yesterday as I was working at school pick u time.

I am off tomorrow though and Wednesday and Friday evening, Sat evening and Sun evening.

Tommorrow is Wednesday lol, I can't even think straigh I am off on Thursday too.
