to feel a bit paranoid sometimes?

I have changed my name for this as I fear I am just being a bit hormonal. But lately I seem to be 'ignored' on threads.

For instance: I join a thread to comment on the OP and there seems to be a private joke going on all around me which has deviated from the OP, which I am apparently not wanted at party to.

Or:

I make a point and then about 5 more people come along and make the same point. They get appluaded yet my post was first! Is it just that people don't click 'refresh' when posting or what?

I am beginning to take this personally.
Tell me if I am just being pathetic.

It sometimes happens to me.

I am sure I do it to other people.

Just one of those things - and I often don't refresh before I post.

Erm... take a break?

Seriously, if you are genuinely feeling 'upset' at the sense you are being 'excluded' from what is a MASSIVE internet (ie, strangers) forum, maybe it's not for you

PuppyMonkey · 20/01/2009 13:45

You're being pathetic!

I get that all the time too! Even though I am obviously the wittiest person in the entire history of MN and everything. S'just one o' them things I reckon. Not sure how you could change things.. C'est la vie!

southeastastra · 20/01/2009 13:45

this happens to me all the time, as i'm always right before everyone else

seriously though, don't take it personal like

Sounds like irrational hormones. Just keep posting
