mamadiva · 20/01/2009 10:00

RIP to the pet LOL.

Wings means it died... and is now an angel!

Sorry I had loads of them when I was a kid, is it the ones with 3 buttons they are easy to do?

psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 10:04

well, it is one of the new type tamagotchi....the ones with what looks like a chimney on top.......buttons at the side

OP posts:
IAmTheNewQueenOfMN · 20/01/2009 10:07

ooops sorry
I have noooo idea about them
thought maybe it had mutated into something cool

NewAmazingBeginning · 20/01/2009 10:09

You aren't killing it.

You are letting it die.

quickdrawmcgraw · 20/01/2009 10:09

well the wings mean that at least you don't have to look after it anymore.

I, on the other hand have to bring dc's pet hamster to be put down in the morning.

psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 10:11

oh god, I am a murderer for real

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 10:11

well, murder by default

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 10:11

do you think I will get time off for good behaviour, if I make them jelly to come home to or something......

OP posts:
GiraffeAHolic · 20/01/2009 10:19

find the reset button, press said button...and.....tada..... a new pet is born!

They'll never know the difference......probably!

missingtheaction · 20/01/2009 10:24

No. Stop. Think. It is their pet, it is their responsibility. What messages are you sending out if you
a) look after it for them
b) hide its death from them
c) bring it back to life and spend all your free time feeding and clearing up its poo

Start this way and in no time at all you will have a houseful of smelly hairy pooey real pets and an unexpected grandchild to look after.

Let it die. When they come home tell them the bare truth - that pets demand committment and that Mum can't be trusted with them. Then arrange a nice funeral for it.

psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 10:29

ROFL at missing..........I think youo are right. I am being a considerate mum by letting them learn this important rite of passage.

mum is crap at pet keeping!!!

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 20/01/2009 22:24

they havenlt even bloody noticed this evening that their 'pets' have wings.

all that bloody panic.......and nuffin!!!

OP posts:
SlartyBartFast · 20/01/2009 22:25

it will be fine,
you can reset it in the mornign, by sticking the tip of a ball point pen in the little hole.
quite disimilar to a real furry pet.

Clary · 20/01/2009 22:28

roffle at yr post slarty.
