Seriously, where has it gone? I am dying to know:
a) was it a wind-up
and
b)What they got for £65!!!

Its disappeared!!!

it was such a fast moving thread i couldnt keep up with it either. what was the last bit everyone read?

was someone recognised?

Fiveplusbump · 01/12/2008 20:09

My neighbour used to charge people a tenner to go to her summer BBQ and bonfire night party .

She would then stand in the kitchen watching you like a hawk to see what you ate and them complain after if anyone had more than two drinks (usually of the booze they had brought to the party).

I don't go anymore I think I am in the bad books for having 3 sausages rather than the assigned two .

Habbibu · 01/12/2008 20:10

It's weird, isn't it? Usually someone knows why a thread went.

onepieceoflollipop · 01/12/2008 20:13

Would mnhq tell us if we asked. Either by starting a thread on site stuff, or (if allowed/permitted in these circumstances) to hit the red ! ?

Majeika · 01/12/2008 20:17

I have reported my post and asked them where the thread has gone..................

bollockbrain · 01/12/2008 20:22

majeika - was it you who started the thread? Can't remember

purpleduck · 01/12/2008 20:58

Whew! Majeika - maybe it will come back. I am intrigued why someone would actually go!

Once again, I seriously need a life

No, it was someone called Racmac who was the OP.

Pretty please, mumsnet towers, with cherries and whipped cream and cadbury's flake sprinkles on top, tell us where the thread has gone!!

lovecat · 01/12/2008 21:27

Racmac's the one who started the 'Tourettes in M&S' thread as well.

Trip-trap...?

Habbibu · 01/12/2008 21:31

No, wasn't it someone called Nicdigby, or something like that?

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 21:31

Yeah I noticed that however she hung around on that thread and ended up saying she had had her opinions changed. Not really the actions of a troll

Comma · 01/12/2008 21:32

I presume that real life got in the way.

Comma · 01/12/2008 21:32
StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 21:35

come on MNHQ this is important

PavlovtheCat · 01/12/2008 21:36

I am going to go look in my 'threads I am on'....

PavlovtheCat · 01/12/2008 21:38

Nope. it is definitely NOT there...I posted on it too, and was watching it lots of interest...

Oh how intriguing! I shall now be watching THIS thread with interest.

I guess it must have been a troll.

LynetteScavo · 01/12/2008 21:40

The in laws had a £40,000 piano. So what kind of piano would that be then. Previously owned by John Lennon?

Comma · 01/12/2008 21:43

maybe real life got in the way.

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 21:44

Don't understand that Comma?

Comma · 01/12/2008 21:44

THINK.

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 21:45

I assume you mean what someone else has already mentioned - that her SIL is also a MNer? IN that case why does no-one seem to know?

lovecat · 01/12/2008 21:45

Maybe this one?

Parsleypants · 01/12/2008 21:46

It was Nicdigby - maybe she realised SIL was a MNetter and asked for it to be pulled? I also sat down with a glass of wine to update after a trying day... now I feel robbed frankly

purpleduck · 01/12/2008 21:48

LOL lovecat!
The PIANO!!!
I thought you were linking to the thread, or possibly the SIL who is a mn'er

PavlovtheCat · 01/12/2008 21:49

Maybe her DP read it and went a bit barmey.
I remember my DH reading a couple of lines of a thread dissing him after we had a huge argument. He was NOT impressed, and it was hardly anything said.

Maybe her DP read the WHOLE thread...maybe she forgot to log off when she went for a pee/to bed...?
