I farking HATE fireworks.
They are dangerous, noisy, loud and scare animals.
Why are they still being sold to the public??? Why cant we just have a few organised displays, Hmmm?

i was going to start this thread last night. wtf is wrong with people standing in their garden in the pouring rain letting off fire works at 11pm on a sunday aaargh! my dd is terrified of them so the whole family has had no sleep now for days and we still have at least another week of it.

YANBU, we have had fireworks going off all fecking week and this will probably continue for another week.

It's not little sods round here though, it's adults who have no consideration for others and think it's a great idea to have a fireworks party at 10.30pm on a sunday night accompanied by loud whooping noises and general irritating drunken malarkey until gone midnight.

well we had them last nights, as I work late shifts and exp works nights, was the only evening we were both around to do it

but what time did yours stop quadrophenia? early evening i dont care, i'm not a total kill joy that wants to ban everything, but when they go on all night its crap

well it was just after the grand prix finished so not late, and to be fair they were cheap ones so didn't even go bang.
