Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Threads I'm On shows your last 51 threads?

51 is wrong. It should be 50, or even 60 or 40 , or something-five at a push. For some reason, it being a something-1 annoys me because it's wrong. It irritates me everytime I click on Threads I'm On.

Am I a freak?

Isn't the number of threads that you are on within a certain timeframe. So basically you have the power to choose how many are there. Post on another 9 threads quickly and you'll be at 60. Then ration yourself to positing on a certain number of threads daily in order to kep a nice even number.

FabioFridgeFluffFrenzy · 09/08/2008 12:42

No LM it's capped at 51 threads.

Hecate · 09/08/2008 12:43

No, 51 is the MAXIMUM! If you've been on more, it won't show. I think it is wrong that the cut off should be something-1!! It makes me fidget!

Yep Jura, maybe I should get out more, eh?

SlartyBartFast · 09/08/2008 12:43

i only have 20

it's not fair

SlartyBartFast · 09/08/2008 12:44

i have 21 now

Uranus · 09/08/2008 12:45

No you're not a freak. I have am booked on a flight next week, the departure time of which is 23.41. That is just wrong, wrong, wrong! Even if it does take off at that time, I would prefer it to be scheduled for 23.40 and be 1 minute late!

FabioFridgeFluffFrenzy · 09/08/2008 12:46

SBF you are clearly not full of enough shit eloquence.
Some of us can do 51 threads in a day.

[proud]

Hecate · 09/08/2008 12:47

Thank you! I hate that as well. My driving test was 10.44

That wound me up so much I really thought I'd fail!

OP posts:
SlartyBartFast · 09/08/2008 12:47

i like that fabio -

SlartyBartFast · 09/08/2008 12:48

10.44!!!
ridiculous

FabioFridgeFluffFrenzy · 09/08/2008 12:49

My trains go at 9, 24, 39 and 54 minutes past the hour.
I regularly miss my train because I round up to a proper time and get there a minute late.

Hecate · 09/08/2008 12:50

I also hate 99p

This amzing bargain £4.99

IT'S A FECKING FIVER!!!! ARRGGGHHHHHH

OP posts:
Hecate · 09/08/2008 12:50

your train leaves on time?

OP posts:
FabioFridgeFluffFrenzy · 09/08/2008 12:53

The farking pound shop near my sells NOTHING for a pound. It's all 99p.
THey must be losing a bloody fortune, and giving themselves hernias with the run tothe bank for another £50 in coppers.

House prices.
£299,950.
FFS add another £50 and call it £330 grand, it won't break the bank.
AND we get not to hear people say "Yeah, it's on at two nine nine nine fifty" which makes me violent.

Hecate · 09/08/2008 13:02

A pound shop where everything is 99p?

No, don't calm down. If you calm down I'll be out here all on my own!

OP posts:
2point4kids · 09/08/2008 13:12

I just had to go and check my threads i'm on and its at 34

You will just have to ration your posting and keep to a strict 50 within the time frame

FabioFridgeFluffFrenzy · 09/08/2008 13:14

Note to self: £299,950 + £50 = £300,000, NOT £330 grand.

[dunce hat]

Hecate · 09/08/2008 13:18

The question is, am I actually weird enough to do that?

I'm afraid we all know the answer.

OP posts:
VictorianSqualor · 09/08/2008 13:29

Hecate, you are totally reasonable.
What weirdo doesn't round things up or down to the nearest 10? Or at the very least 5.
I'm assuming you could cope with 55?

Kewcumber · 09/08/2008 13:32

Isn't 51 a prime number? I don't like prime numbers.

VictorianSqualor · 09/08/2008 13:39

Yes, Kew, it is.
Prime numbers should be eradicated.
Maybe when we take over the world we can make them disappear completely.
Everything can be done in 5s and 10s.
So I would still be 25, as I can't be 27
But then I would have to round up to 30 next year, Hmmm.

Kewcumber · 09/08/2008 13:52

Oh I don;t mind even numbers so much and that would give you the opportunity to always round down. PRime numbers shouldn't be allowed though, its just not right. Or 27 which in my book is a pseudo prime number.
