To cut a long story short - was signed off sick for a week and when returned to work was told that I was not getting paid due to a eror on a previous absence. Basically They had me down for having 1 day off but the rotas say I was off for two days last year.Since that my 2 other sicknesses were worked out from that sheet and so the last score I was given was an incorrect one. I signed the back to work form which they are saying is incorrect as did the assistant manager. Also i signed a piece of paper with the most recent score along with the other assistant manager and also wrote the score in my diary(which has now disappeared from my hr folder!and been replaced with a new one with all new scores unsigned!). Basically if it was 1 day off then I would be paid this abence that I was signed off for and if it was 2 I wont.

I want to take it further but dont know if I have a leg to stand on! help please x

Have you got an HR dept you can sit down and discuss it with?

If it's a genuine error on their part then it shouldn't affect your pay.

They arent really very helpful they do their upmost to help the company rather than you unfortunately
