to hate First Direct?

who charged me £75 in one month for going over my overdraft limit 3 times - yes my own fault, was literally a couple of quid each time. I called them, we compromised and I paid half of it. Now they have written to me demanding £25 arrangement fee to keep my overdraft at all. My reaction is to scream "thieving bastards!!!" but is that unreasonable?

OMG I love First Direct. They were the only bank who would take me on many years ago when I had tons of debt and NatWest had thrown me out. I think they're really reasonable when it comes to arranging overdrafts and things like the automatic texts help me either stay within my limits or phone them in time if I can't..!

I love FD

I heart first direst too . We arranged a fab mortgage deal with them 4 months ago.

I have also found their call centre staff really helpful and considerate. I appreciate that it is really frustrating to have to pay additional fees but it is a money making business after all.
