Aibu to ask how often you feel lonely?

I have on paper everything. Beautiful house, job I like, wonderful kids, dh who is kind if a little checked out, wide circle of friends, no money issues.
but I often feel so so lonely. I get dh to stay with the LOs to go out and get time to myself at least once a week (he likes to stay in and game so he’s happy to do this when they are asleep). We do date nights once a week.
anyone else feel surrounded by people but lonely?

I’ve been single for 10 years. I’m 40, have an adult dcaway from home ant uni and a teen with me. Very few friends, but we meet up once every couple of months or so. I do text people regularly. Have no brothers or sisters, cone from a small family.
To answer your question, no I’m never lonely. I enjoy my own company a lot. I do speak to my Mum on the phone every day and think I would feel a bit lost without that.

To add, I felt lonelier in a relationship.

I often feel lonely although I’m out a lot. I just feel no one really is there for me anymore.
