To think it should be remembered that non-Muslims are also partly driving the increase in anti-Semitism?

Online I've noticed a lot of posts (mainly on other forums, not here) where people argue that the increase in anti Semitism after October 7 is due to people from the UK's Muslim community.
Firstly, a lot of Muslims here aren't anti Semitic. But more broadly, while this definitely is a factor, I think people shouldn't simply ascribe the increase in anti Semitism to only Muslims. I've been looking into the issue and a large amount of aggressive rhetoric online and at anti Semitic marches seems to have been perpetrated by white and presumably mostly non-Muslim people. Statistics for physical attacks show similar. The increase in anti Semitism has also happened in Scotland and ROI, which both have a much smaller Muslim community than we do.

Part of this seems to be a toxic crossover between far-right and far-left anti-Semitism, which is also the case in the US, though that is somewhat different also.

I'm not saying the role of Muslims who are anti Semitic should be downplayed, but it should be recognised it's a wider problem than that. Which hopefully will be tackled somehow soon...

Can you point to the statistics that prove your case? You’re not going to convince anyone who disagrees with you by simply stating that the statistics confirm your point of view. Why would they take your word for it?

It’s a mixture of ant-Semitism from the Left and Muslim anti-Semitism. However all of the fatal terrorist attacks, and planned fatal (but prevented by anti-terrorism police) , attacks have been by Muslims. So the huge rise is anti-Semitism since Oct 7th 2023 is from the left and Muslims but the fatal anti-terrorism has all been from Muslims ( and this is true in UK, USA and Australia the fatal attacks since OCt 7th are by Muslims).

Any time I see a fp march, they seem to be mainly white.

Yes, that's definitely true, all the fatal attacks have been by Muslims. The problem in the Muslim community is clearly more severe, I'd agree with that. I just don't think the issues among non Muslims should be overlooked even if they so far haven't resulted in fatal attacks.

'CST obtained a description of the ethnic appearance of the offender or offenders in 1,385 of the 3,700 antisemitic incidents reported during 2025. Of these, 714 (52%) were described as white – North European; 38 (3%) as white – South European; 123 (9%) as black; 160 (11%) as South Asian; six (<1%) as Southeast Asian; and 344 (25%) as Arab or North African. This breakdown is closer to the typical makeup of antisemitic incident offenders reported outside of Israel-related conflicts. Although the percentage of perpetrators described as Arab or North African remains elevated, it is the first time since 2022 that offenders described as ‘White – North European’ make up the majority'

No it's not the case. A lot of the anti Jewish hate is fuelled by pro Palestinian groups...or rather pro radical islamic groups.

DontBuyAnotherBook · Yesterday 22:36

All the recent attacks on Jews and synagogues in the UK are predominantly by Muslims fyi.

There aren't any anti-Semitic marches.

The marches you are trying to smear as anti-Semitic are against the genocidal, racist regime of Israel.

Quoting lies from the racist pro-Israel outfit CST will not help you.

So supporting Israel automatically makes someone racist? Supporting Israel doesn't equal supporting Netanyahu, remember, or believing Palestinians should be treated unfairly.

Whatever someone's views on Israel, dismissing anti Semitism would be laughably blind if it weren't clearly such a dangerous issue. Do you think all the Jews reporting increased hate are lying?

Hard disagree. Your statistics are broken up into loose geographical groups, each one of which will have Muslims amongst them. So you actually have no evidence at all.
