We have had this awful cold virus and its really knocked me for six as have my babies.

Me and the kids were resting upstairs and heard a scooter noise.

It was a kid who lives on the next street, he came onto my my drive and was racing back and forth on a scooter to my front door and back.

Once fair enough, but he kept doing it until I told him to get off.

His parents were stood 2 doors down chatting to another neighbour, surely they should have said something.

Its the same kid always doing it and I have told him before.

I felt bad afterwards, this happened at 8am with me being up half the night wiping my kids noses and with me being ill as well and with OH being away for work.

Aibu to feel annoyed that his parents should have said something to him?

Meh 🤷‍♂️

A kid was on your drive on a scooter.

Bit annoying if you're unwell but not something I'd still be thinking about now.

Really annoying and more so when you’re sick. You’re right, parents should have told them to get off your drive straightaway in fact kids should already know that you don’t go on someone else’s property without permission.

Yes they should have said something, but clearly they are shit parents given that your had issues with the kid before.

I think we've found one of the parents! You can't just play on someone else's private property. FFS

Have you got a gate you can close? They could make life difficult for you if the kid gets injured on your property.

Of course you can't.

But honestly, to be thinking about it now when it happened at 8am is a bit OTT.

Same kid who was digging up all my winter pansys from my planters to get snow earlier in the year.

When I told him to get off he had the cheek to ask "why"?, he is about 11/12 so he should have some general awareness.
