I'm a sahm to 2 under 2. I left the workplace after my maternity leave with dc1 ended and am struggling to juggle it all. I have minimal family support but my partner is great and helps out more than he should, but I just feel so guilty.

Guilty because the house is never tidy, I don't make enough effort with dp, I havent been taking the kids to as many classes as the people around me take their kids and everyone seems like they have it all together. The kids arent in childcare and I have had comments that they should be for their development, which adds to the guilt.

So please give me your tips on how you manage it all, little things that just make your day easier that I can impliment

Don't judge what you do against what people post on social media. Social media is always, without fail, a sanitised lie.

Ditch the guilt! You are in the trenches right now.

Things I did when I had 2 under 2. Try to get up before they wake up (tricky I know) but I’d get myself together, washed and semi presentable.

Try and get outside for a while in the morning to burn up some energy.

Do my best to get a nap schedule, especially if you have a toddler. Then use the nap time to eat in peace, and then catch up on some household tasks. Just one thing every day.

And I wouldn’t pay any attention to people who say your kids need to be in any kind of childcare (or really anything other people say!). Under two is still very young and if they’re with their mum, they’re doing just fine!

I spent a good lot of my life on the floor when I had 2 little ones at the same time, and my house was a bit disorderly. It’s very clean now, but not nearly as much fun!

When did you find it gets easier? They're both teething at the mo so everything is just so wet and baby wakes for hours in the night, up to start the day at 4am and by the end of the day I'm just so exhausted and touched out that I just want to crash in bed and get frustrated when dp touches me.

Thanks for the tips i'll try them. Is a pram walk ok?
