Not really. It sells everything so all the quality all the quality stuff is still there. Stop searching for tat.

But the search engine is awful! If I search specifically for a branded something I get a whole load of other shit, so much that I often still can't find what I'm looking for.
I hear ya, OP.

The quality stuff is swamped by the tat. It takes so much time to dig out the quality stuff. I gave up Prime and have not bought anything from Amazon for some time and I do not miss it. It is just as easy to buy online from retailers who all deliver now. Also I am happy not to subsidise Jeff Bezos space programme!

It is really bad at the moment - I've ended up just returning everything that is poor quality, things like a kitchen roll holder and some kitchen towels - it's meant to make my life easier!

Sticking to branded and official stuff - but the search is truly awful!

I am not keen on Amazon anyway because of their exploitation, poor tax ethics and their dominance resulting in the demise of other businesses. But sometimes I look on it out of desperation or to get a review of something that I'm going to buy elsewhere, but all I seem to get is all this sponsored stuff which isn't what I searched for. I mostly avoid it now.
