AIBU to think my child got flea bites at his dad's?

My kiddo came home last night from his dad's covered in red spots.

I think they look like flea bites. 😡😡 He has over 30 of them all over his body but particularly around his lower back/hips.

His dad is insisting that he had them when he went on Friday night but I know 100% that he didn't because I helped him in the shower about an hour before he went to his dad's.

They have two cats and a dog.

I have plenty of (very stressful) experience of flea bites, but I need to see a picture, really.

I had this issue with my kids dad, he was pulled up on it but insisted it wasn't him. I made him flea his pets/house and guess what?, no more bites!.

Yeah they look like flea bites. I'm guessing from his reaction that he wouldn't take kindly to you asking him to just give his pets an extra treatment?

Oh no he absolutely won't. I dropped him a message yesterday asking if he'd seen the spots and got an abusive response.

Oh not his mother absolutely hates me unfortunately.
