To be utterly baffled trying to fit a car seat into my mini clubman at 36 weeks pregnant?!

Has anyone successfully fitted a Maxi-cosi car seat into a mini clubman? My brain is melting trying to work out how this is possible as all the plugs for the seatbelts to go into are in the middle of the car. I feel I might be being unreasonable asking for help but I am suffering from extreme pregnancy brain and would appreciate any know how from experienced car seat fitters, particularly those with a mini clubman!

What model and year is the clubman please?

I’ve not have a maxi cosi but are you just using the seat belt rather than an isofix base?
There should be a video by maxi cosi on YouTube to show how it’s fitted

i belted my baby seat in but switched to isofix for the next seat size and it was a game changer.
hopefully someone else will come along with more knowledge

When fitting my grandchildren's car seats we always search YouTube for a video and pause it frequently. Can you find one to follow??

Did you order online or from a brand that has stores? Many of them will show you how to fit the seat properly.

I got picked up( with premature dc )in a Fiat 500. The newborn seat just does not fit into the back seat via the front (3door )
Ds entered that car via the boot /parcel shelf!!

Oh my god, @Pumpkinsaregrowingnicely! 😂 I’m able to laugh now I’ve worked mine out but that’s the kind of scenario I was panicking about!
