I turn to social media a lot for meal ideas, but as a single woman I find they’re pretty much not suitable for me.

They’re either gym bro meals with 75g of protein and boring chicken and rice, or meal prep for the family with 10 portions per recipe.

I want to start sharing some of the meals I make as a single woman who meal preps for the week, but I don’t know if people would be interested? Obviously this goes for people who only meal prep for one

YABU - boring. No.

YANBU - go for it!

I would briefly in passing, but there’s loads of people already doing this who pop up on mine and I don’t follow them as it just looks so dull. I only use Instagram so don’t know how other SM works, but you just need to train the algorithm and you stop seeing the bros and start seeing the single ladies

I find even they do the same thing. Like “chicken and pasta!!!” A million times over

Do it if you want to but if you're trying to suggest that you've looked on tiktok, Instagram etc and haven't been able to find anyone else that's doing meal preps for single women then I'm frankly astonished. You can't throw a rock without hitting someone who's showing you how to prepare wholesome, tasty meals.

I'm single and loads of people on Instagram do this. I hate cooking so I would honestly rather have toast or cereal for dinner than meal prep. Sometimes I make a double portion of pasta but that's not exactly hard.

I am also cooking for one and feel like I’m inundated with this type of content! Emsbalance is my favourite if you want somewhere to start, then hopefully your algorithm will do its thing.

But yeah if you want to do it then go for it, there’s nothing stopping you!

Boring. It's just cooking food and putting it in a box. Instruction isn't really necessary.

I prefer "rate my plate"
