I've been using Treatwell and Fresha to find appointments near me for beauty treatments like eyebrow waxes, but I've had a few issues now so I'm done.
I turned up to my appointment on time and they asked who I was with. I confirmed my appointment time and the beauticians name and was told 'she won't be long'.
After 10 minutes the other lady phoned my beautician who apparently knew nothing about this appointment. They both then started discussing on the phone about 'changing your settings so clients can't book After a certain time'.
I was then told 'She'll be about 10 more minutes', she eventually arrived 30 minutes after my appointment time.
No apology, just 'did you only just book this or something?'. Whether I booked it 1 hour ago or 1 month is irrelevant, they shouldn't be advertising via third party apps if they aren't going to use them correctly. Could tell she didn't want to be there, I should've been more assertive but that's a place I won't be going back to.
Has anyone else had this? I booked on treatwell once and turned up to find the place no longer existed.
