Oxygen chambers - yea or nay?

Posting here for traffic, sorry.

Has anyone used hyperbaric chambers for oxygen therapy, and would you recommend it?

I'm struggling to recover from cancer treatments (chemo Aug-Dec last year, radiotherapy Feb/Mar this year, CAR-T late Mar and a drug trial Apr-Jun.) I'm still quite weak, have low blood pressure, no immune system (on IVIG monthly) and my energy levels just don't seem to be returning. I'm participating in Walk 30 Miles in September for Cancer Research but it is exhausting me. I need a rest after about half a mile before I can continue, and I've needed rest days.

I've seen adverts for oxygen therapy and it seems really appealing, but I'm not sure if it's just a gimmick or it might have some genuine benefits. Just wondering if anyone has tried it?

After reading a little about these I can’t see any benefits outside of medical use in hospital settings such as assisting a diver with the bends and some other specifics. Could you ask your specialist or on the cancer uk site as it could be an expensive fad, and posters on there will have shared your experience and recovery journey? I’m sorry you are feeling exhausted, and well done for setting yourself a goal, but be gentle on yourself, you have listed ongoing health issues, none of which would appear to be treated or cured by oxygen therapy.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I think some athletes and sportsmen/women use them to help with recovery but it may just be because it feels nice rather than having a measurable benefit - like that kinesiology tape that was all the rage a few years ago.

I'm not seeing any doctors until next month but I will raise it with them then.
