YANBU @Cricketduckout. Child victims of adult violence should be heard.💔

This might sound like a stupid question but is it unbearably sad?
There's some very very sad things where I'm glad I watched it afterwards and there's other things where I wish I hadn't

XigDoop · 10/09/2026 20:15

I couldn't watch it, too harrowing.

Yes.

It's also unbearably true. That's the hardest thing.😢

Also "American Doctor" it follows Jewish American Dr. Mark Perlmutter as he works in Gaza trying to save lives during Israel's genocidal campaign.

I couldn't watch this, it breaks my heart and makes me totally full of rage at the same time.

NAZA has also just come out.

The film follows the ongoing Gaza genocidecommitted by Israeli forces.
NAZA is a military acronym used by Israeli Defense Force to indicate the number of civilians expected to be killed in an airstrike in Gaza, based on reporting by Israeli activist outlets +972 Magazine and Local Call, alongside reporting from British newspaper The Guardian, published between 2023 and 2025.

The Incident: January 29, 2024.
The Admission: In August 2026, the Israeli military admitted its troops fired on the family car and announced a criminal investigation.

Hind's mother, Wesam, recalled that the final words she exchanged with Hind came after Hind had been shot and her mouth was full of blood.

Rana Faqih, the dispatcher from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PCRS) who was speaking to Hind, asked, “why aren’t you speaking?” Hind replied, “I’m not speaking because my mouth is full of blood.” Rana told her, “Wipe it with your hand and then tell me if you’re still bleeding.”
Hind answered, “I don’t want to wipe it on my shirt so I don’t trouble my mom.”

Wesam reassured her daughter, “It’s okay sweetheart, wipe your mouth, I’ll wash it, my love.” Hind agreed, wiped her mouth, and then her voice went silent. Her mother kept calling her name, but Hind never responded.
