AIBU to ask about a temporary fix for a cracked tooth?

Well, it’s finally happened. My front tooth has cracked, I’m terrified of the dentist and I need to go to work tomorrow. Can anyone please tell me where I could find a repair kit that I could send my partner out for now?

OP, I despise the dentist and really need to go myself, but if it is a front tooth, you really, really need to go and get it seen to. An implant is easy for a front tooth (although expensive) but will be worth it. I don't think a kit is going to do anything. Have you phoned your dentist for advice?

Make an emergency appointment ASAP, @Catbutpatter . If it can be fixed, the sooner you see a dentist the better.

No it’s only just happened, looking for a kit that has the filler stuff just for now. Also I’m broke at the moment 😫

I think you can buy a temporary tooth filler in boots.

When you say it has cracked, do you mean vertically or horizontally? So if it is horizontally, the top half of the tooth will be loose, but if vertically, it might be the length of the tooth.

Vertically, maybe around a quarter

I'd really go to your dentist asap - everybody needs to keep their front teeth as good as possible!

Has it just cracked or a chunk broken off?
