To ask for your best Wing Yip buys

I often go to our local Wing Yip to get fresh bits and pieces to make Thai curries. I’m no expert at all and have found I stick to what I know.

My favourite bits to buy are their baby aubergines and prawn chips that are essentially Thai crackers when fried.

But it occurs to me there is so much in the frozen section and aisles that I don’t venture into.

Are there any gems there that are great authentic Thai starters/Chinese buns etc or any other great take away favourites that are worth getting?

Would love some recommendations!

Their Ho Fun Noodles (used to make: https://www.hairybikers.com/recipes/view/pork-with-wide-noodles) and their dried shrimp which is a bit of a pantry staple for lots of asian cooking.

Also worth getting their chillies (much hotter than supermarket variety).

Their frozen salt & pepper chicken (if they still do it) is also pretty incredible. It tastes better than takeout, even though it's the exact same dish, as it's less greasy 😊

The Hairy Bikes have an 'asian adventure' cook book which calls for lots of different ingredients that I've only ever found in Wing Yip. Really worth having a nosy at that book and seeing what dishes you like the sound of
