Why would the government be organising the boats to come over?

I would stop scrolling if I were you, the aim of people spreading this kind of disinformation is to make you anxious or angry and easy to manipulate.

Llttledrummergirl · 07/09/2026 23:15

It's absolutely rubbish being spread by the far right to cause fear, hate and push people towards the likes of restore.

Those behind it (like the organiser of the shit it Portsmouth) are violent thugs who have done prison time.

Don't let them hold your fear and manipulate you into hate.

GoodkneeBadKnee · 07/09/2026 23:15

That makes no sense. Go and read a book or something.

11AndCounting · 07/09/2026 23:15

If you can't identify and dismiss obvious nonsense, maybe you should just unplug from social media altogether?

Exactly.

Like many conspiracy theories, this rumour makes no sense at all. It's quite bizarre that people believe this.

What are you anxious about ?

What have you seen in your day to day life that is troubling you?

What is your personal experience ?

OsfameronTanamoril · 07/09/2026 23:18

Yes, of course the government organising boats to come over. It's all part of the great replacement theory.
Soon we will all be the same race.

Your anxiety should be ramping up about the rise of the far right and it's influence. Not some entirely irrational rumour.

What do you think the government would get out of arranging the boats to come, when the boat people arriving is losing them votes?

Lemonfrost · 07/09/2026 23:18

For Gods sake, stop reading and then repeating this utter rubbish. Have you lost all ability to think for yourself?

user5783940 · 07/09/2026 23:20

Ok, take a deep breath and ask yourself why would they do that? What would they have to gain? Sometimes you need to shine a bright light on things on social media and test whether or not they make sense.

TemperanceWest · 07/09/2026 23:20

If this is genuine I suggest you read this and understand where these stupid conspiracy theories are coming from:

Why on earth would the government be organising a socially and politically disruptive headache for themselves?
The reality is that there are multiple factors behind irregular migration, it is affecting many countries (do you think all their governments are somehow facilitating it?), it puts pressure on the receiving countries and is dangerous and unpleasant for those who undertake it (who often don't have many better options), and smugglers feed off this misery.
