To ask how gullible you were as a child/teen?

I mean compared to the rest of your peers.

It strikes me now that despite being a reasonably bright child I often believed all sorts of nonsense, particularly about what other kids supposedly owned or had done.

I worked with kids. It was challenging to know how to respond when one kiss told an obvious pack of lies to their friends who just believed them. By secondary most kids can easily spot these lies.

I was pretty good at spotting lies except when there wasnt any need for someone to lie.
Like if someone was telling me what happened at the weekend and i believed something a little outlandish but not outside of possibility.

One person when I was in my teens once asked me to get the ice cube mix.... and I believed them so very gullible. I am autistic though so I have a get out of jail card. 😂
